Chinese airlines are offering flights as cheap as a cup of coffee as millions of people are facing travel difficulties due to the coronavirus outbreak. Shenzhen Airlines is offering a one-way flight from Shenzhen to Chongqing, a 1,000 km journey, for 30 yuan, which is less than a Starbucks latte in China which costs 32 yuan.

The coronavirus outbreak is leading to sharp reductions in the demand for air travel with many major international airlines suspending flights to and from China.
