罗巧华，中国国家一级演奏员，广州市非物质文化遗产项目粤剧传承人，中国戏剧家协会会员，现任广州粤剧团副团长、击乐设计、掌扳。出生于粤剧音乐世家，11岁考入广州粤剧团参加工作。其基本功扎实，鼓点准确到位，深受各方人士的赞赏。其间担任了《贼王子》、《武松》、《鸳鸯剑》等多个剧目的击乐设计和掌扳，担任了中国第一部粤剧动画电影《刁蛮公主》的击乐设计和掌扳，参加了各种大型的晚会和演唱会，并参与录制了《红线女唱腔艺术特辑》，《陈小汉艺术专辑》、《陈笑风艺术专辑》等粤剧名伶的音像录制工作。为促进中外文化交流，多次随团赴港澳、新加坡、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰、英国、法国、马来西亚、日本等地演出。历年来所担任击乐设计和掌扳的剧目，多次获得国家，省市大奖。

Luo Qiaohua (罗巧华) is a state-level conductor of theorchestra, bearer of Guangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Project (CantoneseOpera), member of the China Theatre Association and incumbent vice director ofGuangzhou Cantonese Opera Troupe in charge of percussion design and drumbeating. Born in a family of Cantonese opera musicians, he was admitted toGuangzhou Cantonese Opera Troupe at the age of 11. His solid basic skills areconducive to beating drums accurately, which is highly appreciated by allparties. He was in charge of percussion design and drum beating in many plays,such as The Vagabond Prince, Wu Song, Yuan Yang Sword and in TheMischievous Princess, the first Cantonese opera animated film. He alsoparticipated in various large-scale evening galas and concerts and engaged innumerous recording works for famous Cantonese opera performers, such as HungSin-nui Special Singing Style Album, Chen Xiaohan (陈小汉) Art Album, and Chen Xiaofeng (陈笑风) Art Album. In order to introduce Chinese cultureto the world, he has performed with the troupe in Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore,the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, France,Malaysia, and Japan. Over the years, he has won many national, provincial andmunicipal awards with his outstanding percussion design and drum beating inoperas.
