Recently, a new coffee maker that can imprint your selfies in the froth is about to be put into use. This bizarre new gimmick is the latest in an ever more cut-throat coffee market. It works by using a tiny amount of liquid coffee extract which acts as an inkjet to “print” any image on the coffee foam in just under ten seconds.

They have already been trialed with first-class and business-class passengers on Lufthansa flights, and at Wimbledon. Imprinting the selfies in the froth is the most eye-catching feature but the machines can also imprint thought-provoking quotes on the bubbles.

A middle-aged man from Derbyshire, England, spent four years creating a series of hyper-realistic landscapes. His amazing drawings have made many Internet users admired.

Darren Reid, 45, only picked up a paintbrush when he was 41. And as a self-taught painter, he has had no training. But Darren admitted the skill had come really naturally to him. “I'd always had an itch to try painting since I was at school, but I just never found the time,” he said.

At first glance, his paintings look like photos of Britain's diverse landscape. But in fact, they are real works produced painstakingly by Darren in a few hours. He uses up to 20 reference photographs for each painting.
