黑石森林「仲夏」

与黑石结缘来自朋友的引荐和一次非正式聊天。

上海梅雨季特有的粘稠下午，我们绕过楼下火热的书店，跟着此次的策展Litchi打开楼正立面的防盗门。热气和光线一下子消失，我们来到另一维度。

黑石公寓始建于1924年，最初是由美国人宋合理先生出资主持建造，用于社交的高级酒店。除了折衷主义建筑，“中国最好的公寓”这些名头以外，黑石最迷人的地方，还是在于，它“聚集”的内核：这里曾有展览，曾见证男女平权问题的高光时刻，更不要提一百年来，这里不断吸引着艺术家，设计师，演员，歌手，作家…

Litchi本人更是对这里如数家珍，脚下的水磨石，手边的墙裙……当然还有即将到来的展。

该如何定义这场展呢？先锋？实验？或者梦幻？

或者说该如何介绍这场展览呢？声音？光影？身体？

我觉得不止。

体验不是从展开始的，是踏入黑石公寓的一瞬间，就再生某梦幻年代了。

体验也不是由展结束，是端一杯水，穿着自己喜欢的衣服，和身边那位五分钟前才认识的朋友聊聊艺术，生活和蔬菜。

这里是始终相信 “人”才是沉浸的核心 的Sylvie。你准备好，在梦幻里，一起聊聊天了么？

放荡不羁的，爱人和诗人都是想象的宠儿。

莎士比亚笔下的仲夏夜之梦，给无数世人带去过幻想，那片森林象征着一场奇异而梦幻的爱。

Though we may not sure the reason why Shakespeare wrote “A midsummer night's dream”, what we do know is he wants us experience the magic, a forest symbolizes a creamy love.

仲夏森林，月下树梢清风里，让流萤环抱你安睡。

闭上眼静听蟋蟀的应对，梦里一起走进奇想的国土。

Midsummer forest, moonlight, treetops and breeze, fireflies fly.

Close your eyes and listen to the crickets, and walk into the wonderland.

我们相信自然可以赋予生灵能量。

We believe that nature can give life energy.

该拿什么去迎接一场仲夏夜？

晚风、美酒、花香、低语，还是莎士比亚的十四行诗？

How to celebrate a midsummer night?

Late wind, wine, floral fragrance, whisper, or Shakespeare's sonnets?

八位艺术家幻化为精灵，在黑石公寓里创造了一片森林。

Eight artists, magic elves, creat a forest in a Blackstone apartment.

旅人们利用竹筏顺着河流进入森林，在月光的照射下看到了许多惊奇的生物，继续深入，他们发现了森林深处的部落文明，观看部落的表演，在森林营地扎起帐篷交流分享，以物换物……

The travelers used bamboo rafts to enter the forest along the river. In the moonlight you will see many amazing creatures, who will feel the tribal civilization deep in the forest, watch the tribal performances, set up tents in the forest camp, and exchange things for things.

On May 20th to 24th, LITCHI with our artists brings you a magic Midsummer Blackstone Forest at Blackstoe Space 32

Danno是一位生活在上海的装置艺术家，专注于公共艺术领域的创作与实验。

她的作品是在探寻日常生活中光和影子的关系。通过研究、调查与实验，将自己对社会生活的理解与认识，用传统剪影的方式陈设呈现在作品中，并与不同空间产生新的互动和可能性。

Danno is an installation artist based in Shanghai, focusing on the creation and experimentation of the public art field.

Her work is a search for the relationship between light and shadow in everyday life. Through research, investigation and experiments, their understanding and understanding of social life, with traditional silhouette slicing in the works, and with different spaces to produce new interaction and possibility.

于雷是目前生活在上海的舞台设计师，他的爱好是捡垃圾，生活中最寻常的废物对于雷来说是宝贝儿，所以在2020年创立了废物研究所，并且在2019年拥有了于雷模型店。他的作品有的是剧组用剩的道具，有的是拆迁留下的垃圾，有的是国内外淘回来的玩具，通过各种元素的拼贴组合形成了本次展览的 【妈妈不认识我系列】与【都是我儿子系列】“捡的开心，废的丰富”也成了废物研究所的所训。

Yu Lei is a stage designer based in Shanghai, his hobby is to pick up garbage, the most common waste in life is a treasure for Yu Lei. He built his own model shop in 2019 and create the Waste Institute in 2020. Some of his works are leftover props, some are garbage left behind by demolition, and some are toys that have been retrieved from home and abroad. By using collage combinations and other methods to make the "Mother does not know me series" and "You are my son series". Both of the collection will be on display in this exhibition.

Karu Shao是一位具有多元文化背景和多重身份的当代艺术家。曾生活在日本，瑞士，美国，加拿大。丰富的童年和青春经历使她在绘画之外还能做出各种各样元素的尝试，形式上诸如插图，丝网印刷，陶瓷和时尚设计。她的作品风格中就经常使用异常的色彩组合和构图，结合西式的潮流元素去描绘传统的东方也是她尝试的方向。

Karu Shao is a contemporary artist with diverse culture background. Born in China, live in Japan, studied in Switzerland, Canada, the USA, and now working in Shanghai. Doing a variety element of art, such as illustrating, silkscreen print, ceramics, and fashion design. Love mixing culture and enthusiastic about contemporary human life changes. By using abnormal color combinations and repeatedly shape to create a sense of unfamiliar is her goal in art.

Jared Mimm是一位驻扎在上海的美国观念艺术家。他的作品从日常生活中审视社会制度，运用大城市内部的生活语境。他通常在他的演出中依靠邀请观众参与作为作品的一部分展开自己的作品，这是作为他的艺术家实践。他艺术中反复出现的主题涉及身体、非语言交流、仪式、声音和亲密行为。

Jared Mimm is an American conceptual artist based in Shanghai. His work examines social systems from everyday life, within the context of living in the urban jungle of a megacity. He often develops projects with a partner, or invites the audience to interact with him during the performance, as a part of his art practice. Reoccurring themes in his work deal with the body, nonverbal communication, ritual, sound, and intimacy.

八年留法经历，硕士毕业于巴黎第三大学新索邦大学戏剧学系。

用嘴巴做出有音乐性的东西是件很有意思的事，Beatbox不仅仅是模仿乐器，它是一门发声的艺术。配合 Didgeridoo 这样原生的乐器加以演绎，可以呈现出美妙新奇、变化多样、极具震撼的视听体验。

Since 2010, Leo Young has been practicing and collecting percussion instruments from all over the world. From Spanish drums Cajon to Djembe in Africa, Bongo, Conga, Udu and various others in South America.

At the beginning 2014, Leo Young start practicing hand-disc. He visited Tokyo hand-disc maker Master Yuan. Learned hand-disc performance and communicated with performers in Europe and around the world, finding rhythm and melody combine them into a beautiful audio-visual experience.

活动Finder主办方/影像/VJ

毕业于上海理工大学，进修于中央圣马丁学院，现居上海。她的作品多涉及影像媒介，实拍影像或是3D动画的结合，作为Finder主办方的她同时将影像作品结合了剧场、行为表演以声音以及诗歌等多元媒介，试图从多感知出发在当下社会体系中寻找真实与虚幻的平衡。

Event Finder Organizer/Image/VJ

YIFEI graduated from USST and CSM. Based in Shanghai. Her works involve the combination of image media, real-life image or 3D animation, and as the finder organizer, she combines the image works with multiple media such as theatre, behavioral performance and poetry, trying to find a real and illusory balance in the current social system from the perspective of multi-perception.
