True Philippines is a safe country to visit and to live, infact many many foreign expats are happy living here permanently, even foreign bloggers are chosen the Philippines as their second home.

Philippines is the best retirement rest place for foreign Christians like Americans and Europeans.. the pensions of foreigners get retired is enough to sustain their life style and expenses in daily life. They can make also businesses in Philippines and be dual citizenship.

Not the safest countriy in Sea Asia,but for cheap.retirement it is ok,the safest country in Sea asia is Singapore and malaysia,

And education systems are not developed

@Black Apple sad to say but you stated the obvious.I would like to retire there but with my health,I probably would die early bec most hospitals will not treat you if you don't have cash as a down payment,and they are slow to move.BUT,if you are famous,or know somebody ,they will treat you right away.Sorry guys but that's the truth.

虽然很遗憾，但你说的是对的，我想要在菲律宾退休，但以我的健康状况，如果我在那里退休的话，可以回过早离世，因为如果你不预付现金的话，菲律宾大部分医院是不会给你提供治疗的，而且他们的办事效率很低。但如果你是名人或者认识什么人的话，那么他们就会马上招待你。很抱歉这样说，但这是事实。

I have visited Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Philippines, India, Japan and Singapore. I think I would choose to retire in Malaysia as my first choice but good with Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia as well, possibly Philippines too

I have been to Malaysia 5 times and travelled to many areas. KL is my favourite city I've visited many cities around the world. Malaysia has everything with great beaches, great landscapes, great food, amazing buildings, temples, mosques, very friendly people and so on. KL is the place I want to retire and this city really suits me because I'm a Muslim born and bred in the UK and Malaysia is a Muslim majority country (which helps so much) and most people are very proficient in English (which is my primary language). Thailand and Indonesia would be my 2nd and 3rd choices
