A: Students who have a valid Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, English proficiency and want to switch to the IT industry. This course will teach students the fundamentals of the IT industry, including the latest trending topics like Python programming, Agile and Android Applications.

A: No. Some professors have a PhD while some do not, but all teaching staff on average have 22 years of working experience. The teaching style at NUS-ISS stems from a very practice-based approach. NUS-ISS aims to equip students to fulfil current requirements in job roles.

A: All full-time through train postgraduate programmes are 1 year long.

Are there internships in the programmes?

A: Yes, and this is one of the key strengths of the postgraduate programmes here at NUS-ISS. The Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis has a 5 month internship, while the 3 Master of Technology degree programmes have a 3 month internship. All internships will be sourced by NUS-ISS. The school believes in ensuring that the learning takes place beyond the classroom, and students can see the knowledge gained being put to practical use in a workplace.

When are the programme intakes for the year?

A: For the Master of Technology degree programmes, there is only 1 full-time intake a year, in August. Application period is from September to February of each year. For the Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis, there are 2 intakes a year, February and August. For the February intake, application period is from June to October of each year. For the August intake, application period is from January to April of each year.

If a student does not have the IELTS/TOEFL qualifications at the point of application, is that ok?

A: Yes it is ok, but the student needs to submit IELTS/TOEFL by the application deadline, otherwise the student will need to request for an extension for submission of IELTS/TOEFL from NUS-ISS.
