公立学校

Public schools

」公立学校是新加坡政府资助、由教育部管辖的学校。

小学分类:名校(一般有GEP课程)邻里小学

名校:设有GEP天才班的九所小学,基本上就是教育部官方认证的,毫无疑问的“名校”了。

GEP课程是教育部专家特地为超常儿童量身定制的高才教育计划。GEP班是教育部直接管理的,教师,教材,设备,考试等都是教育部特别安排的,不会和学校现有资源混在一起。

邻里学校:因为它们一般在邻里区,俗称邻里学校,有不少邻里学校的学额也比较紧张的,申请难度也会不小。

中学● 政府学校

(government school)

学校开销由教育部直接负责,教师由教育部分配,课程需要完全跟着教育部的方案。

政府学校由教育部直接管理,由校长代为执行俗称邻里学校,新加坡绝大部分学校是政府学校(学校名字里一般带地名)。

●政府资助学校

(government-aided school)

管理方面和政府学校差不多。但是拨款较多,于学生受益。

●自治学校

(autonomous school)

拨款数额大,学校有权力聘老师,但也必须接受教育部的教师分配。内部管理由校长负责,基本上就是教育部出钱,信任校长管。

●自主学校

(independent school)

这些都是新加坡顶尖的学校,如齐名的华中与莱佛士,都属于自主学校。能进自主学校的学生,学习奋斗已经完成了一半,世界顶尖大学已在眼前。

内部管理全权交予校长,校长有很大的自主招生权力,教师全由学校自行聘任。拨款最大,学校另外收学费,教学质量和对学生的栽培是最好的。

以上都属于公立学校,都在新加坡教育部的管辖内!信誉、教学等都都有保障。

下面列出了2018年新加坡所有184所小学的排名。这个排名是根据2B阶段(包括第二阶段)所占用的位数来确定的,这也代表着各个学校的受欢迎程度!

学校在Jurong West, 与第10名的学校一样,在2B和2C的阶段就需要抽签。

虽然在学校义工和基层领袖阶段,抽签没有这么惨烈,但是在2C阶段的竞争是非常激烈的。

Nan Chiau Primary 南侨小学

历史悠久的小学,属于福建会馆,位于新加坡的东北地区,靠近万国地铁站。

同样的,在2B和2C阶段都需要抽签,尤其在学校义工和基层领袖这个环节上,都要比之前提到的两个学校激烈。

Tao Nan Primary School, 道南小学

这个也是非常出名的学校了,在东海岸地区一支独秀,同样属于福建会馆。

2015年的2C阶段,道南的申请率为203%,基本上是2个里面中一个。

Red Swastika

好了,现在进入2A(2)阵营,觉得之前几个学校竞争很激烈嘛?后面提到的更惨!

这个学校的位置在勿洛北,在当地是非常出名的学校。

从现在开始提到的学校,从2A(2)就开始抽签了,这个阶段,申请人的父母或者兄弟姐妹曾经是这个学校的校友,或者父母是该学校的工作人员。从这个阶段开始,就已经不可以保证入学了,而且后面每个阶段都是一路的抽签,如果运气不好的话,很有可能最后拿不到学额。

Catholic High Primary School 公教小学

学校位置:靠近壁山

同样的,在2A(2)开始,一路抽签。公教家族的学校,一直都是趋之若鹜。在2015年的2A(2)阶段,32个申请人竞逐30个学额,申请成功的比率还是很大的,但是总还是会有2个申请人败兴而归。

学校位置在荷兰路,靠近 Dover MRT 的位置。
