OKI rarely do this. But this incident is too infuriating.

Thishappened to my sis-in-law, she is not active on Facebook so I'm sharing this onher behalf. The incident happened on 27th June 2017, around 6.50pm on Bus 86towards Sengkang (Around Abundant Grace Church along Jalan Kayu). My sis-in-lawwas onboard this full bus and seeing this man with his groceries on the chair, asked if he could remove them so she could sit. This "well-dressed"uncle ignored her, so my sis-in-law tried to snap a picture of his ungraciousbehaviour. Out of the sudden, this unreasonable man GRABBED AND TWISTED her armand THREW her phone onto the floor. He then tried to make a run for it butthankfully, the passengers on the bus caught hold of him so the police can comeand deal with this.

Thepolice arrived but guess what, they deem this as a "civil conflictcase" and if we want anything to happen, we have no choice but to SPENDMONEY to engage a lawyer to sue him. In the end, only a police report is made.I don't understand the law, but if today I was to GRAB & TWIST apoliceman's arm, I would get arrested immediately right? Why are they protectedby the uniform they wear, where else normal citizens like us have to engage alawyer to prosecute an obvious case of bodily harm/damage of personal assets?
Anyway, since the police cannot do anything about this, I hope all my friends who readthis can share the ugly deeds of this man on social media.
*Edit:As usual, the really "calm" people are asking why snap his picturesin the first place. I would really love to see how they respond if this happensto them or their loved ones. If no one also took a video in the case of thehawker center saga, the couple wouldn't have been charged in court. And this isa FULL BUS, there is no other seat to move to.
