Popular markets visit restricted based on last digit of IC number
From 22 April 2020, further measures will be taken to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 in Singapore, especially in crowded areas. The National Environment Agency (NEA) will implement new measures to reduce crowding in 4 popular markets, where entry to the markets will be based on the last digit of your NRIC number or FIN.

If your NRIC ends with an even number (0, 2, 4, 6, 8), you are only allowed entry on even dates of the month.If your NRIC ends with an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7, 9), you can only visit the markets on odd dates of the month.For example, if today is 23rd April, it is an odd date. So you can only visit the 4 markets if your NRIC/FIN number ends with an odd digit (1, 3, 5, 7, 9).
