PSLE小六会考成绩即将放榜!考多少分才能上”名校”?
11月21日,新加坡超重视的国考之一的小六会考(PSLE)将放出考试结果。作为新加坡精英教育的第一次大规模分流,这场竞争激烈的考试终于尘埃落定,而考生们也将在上午11点时从各自所属的小学取得考试成绩。
领取成绩的考生
成绩合格的小学毕业生将会收到一份报选中学的志愿表,他们需要在父母的帮助下完成选校。提交表格的方式有两种:
1.在线提交6所首选学校,在2019年11月27日下午3点之前完成提交。
2.通过所属小学提交选择表,可以在以下时间段内提交:2019年11月21日上午11点至下午3点,以及2019年11月22日至25日上午9点至下午3点。
毕业生所报名的中学将会在2019年12月20日发布结果,可以通过网站、学生所属的小学或者手机短信查询。
PSLE是新加坡小学生在小学课程最后一年结束时参加的全国性考试,考试内容包括口语、听力、写作三项,又分为英语、语文、数学、科学四个科目。考生将根据考试结果决定所升入的中学,环环相扣之下,在某种程度上决定了孩子的未来。
因此,拿到考试成绩之后的考生都会面临一个选择问题:他们像中国的高考考生一样,需要根据成绩填报志愿,总共可以选择6所中学。录取时也是由先而后入选,如果所有志愿皆未入选,新加坡教育部将会根据考生的情况为其分配学校。
在新加坡,一所顶尖的中学可以为孩子提供更好的教学资源、升学途径、学习环境等条件,所以考生的父母十分关注学校的水准。
考评一所中学的方式有很多,新加坡政府为推行“每所学校都是好学校”的观念,拒绝为中学排名,所以如今最权威的方式之一便是以录取分数线进行排名。(2018-2019年新加坡中学录取线排名见文末)
分数线在很多时候成为了考生能否入学的硬性标准,而一些中学的附属小学毕业生将以更低的分数线录取,如去年排名第四的南洋女子高中(Nanyang Girls’ High School),该中学对外分数线为258分,对其附属小学毕业生的录取线则只有250分。

除了录取线,还可以考虑一些其他因素。比如说:学校的地理位置是否方便?学校安排的课程是否适合孩子的兴趣和个人发展?学校的类型是公立、私立或者政府资助?学校的校园文化是否适合孩子成长?如果孩子有特殊需求,如听力障碍,视力障碍,肢体残疾等,学校是否有相应的资源和设施?
无论是PSLE考试,还是考试后的志愿选择,都是考生的人生大事,但考试和成绩并不是人生的全部。新加坡教育部在11月19日发帖文指导家长们如何在成绩发布的当天照顾孩子的情绪。

教育部指出不要拿孩子的成绩同他人比较,值得重视的是努力的过程。家长们要和孩子多沟通,了解孩子的想法…… 有时候分数不能代表一切,最适合的才是最好的。新加坡中学2018年(2019年入学)的录取分数线排名如下(boys:男校;girls:女校;co-ed:男女混校):
