Valerie Rostain was brought up on travels and spent her childhood between France, Germany and the US. She is a graduate from ESAG-Met de Penninghen - Paris, and she lives between Stockholm and Paris now.

Valerie Rostain likes to break down rules, explore new frontiers and tease styles. Between tradition and modernity, preciosity and discretion, masculinity and feminity…her design brings unexpected but subtle combinations. Fine lines, careful finish, noble materials, a space furniture coherence are the main concerns in VR’s work. A quest for timelessness prevailing over fashion.

Behond style, Valerie Rostain is eager to create spaces that resemble her clients and in which they feel well. She takes her time to observe their ways of living and so as to provide them with the best guidance. VR is simultaneously starting an original collaboration with a computer scientist Thomas Peugeot. Together they have formed a new and inventive design, inspired from our natural environment and its algorythms.
