11月27日，全球高等教育研究机构QS（Quacquarelli Symonds）公布2020年亚洲大学排名，中国大陆高校首次占据前十名中的四席，较去年多出一席。
Four of the top 10 universities in Asia are, for the first time, from the Chinese mainland, according tothe latest rankings from London-based QS Quacquarelli Symonds, which were released on Wednesday.
其中清华大学排名第4，紧随其后的是北京大学、浙江大学和复旦大学，依次排名为第5至7名。
排名中，浙江大学首次进入QS亚洲大学排名前十名。上海交通大学排名第17位，并列进入前20。
Tsinghua University ranked fourth in Asia, with Peking University fifth, Zhejiang University sixth and Fudan University seventh.
The only new face in the top 10 this year, Zhejiang University, was ranked 13th last year.
2020亚洲大学排名前十分别为：新加坡国立大学、南洋理工大学、香港大学、清华大学、北京大学、浙江大学、复旦大学、香港科技大学、韩国科学技术院和香港中文大学。
大陆高校排名稳升
近年来，QS亚洲大学排名中，中国大陆高校整体排名稳步提升。
There was only one mainland university in the top 10 when the rankings were first published in 2009, and just two in the top 20.
2009年首次公布排名时，前十名中只有一所大陆大学，前20名中只有两所。
据本次榜单显示，中国共有165所大学进入亚洲500强，数量为亚洲第一。
其中，中国大陆118所，中国香港8所，中国台湾37所，中国澳门2所。印度以101所大学排名亚洲第二，紧随其后的是日本（87所）和韩国（71所）。
China has more universities in Asia's top 500 than any other country, with 165 — 118 from the Chinese mainland, 37 from Taiwan, eight from Hong Kong and two from Macao. India follows with 101, then Japan with 87 and South Korea 71.

在学术声誉（academic reputation）方面，中国大陆共有10所大学进入亚洲50强，如南京大学、北京师范大学及中山大学。
在“篇均引用（citations per paper）”这一与科研直接挂钩的指标中，25个中国大陆大学进入前50强，占据半壁江山，其中包括南开大学、中国科学技术大学和华中师范大学等。
而在雇主声誉（employer reputation）这项指标上，中国大陆也有6所大学位列前50。其中，排名包揽第一、第二的分别是北京大学和清华大学。
Six mainland universities make the top 50 in the employer reputation measure, based on a global survey of 44,884 recruiters, with Peking University ranked first and Tsinghua University second.
此外，中国大陆高校的国际化程度也在不断提高。
在国际研究合作的指标中，17所中国大陆高校位列前50位，例如哈尔滨工业大学、西安交通大学和同济大学等。
香港前十高校排名下降
同时，相比2019QS亚洲大学排名，2020排名前十的高校中，香港地区高校排名均有下降。
The rankings of the top three universities in Hong Kong have dropped slightly in the past year, with the University of Hong Kong slipping from second to third, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from seventh to eighth, and Chinese University of Hong Kong from ninth to 10th.
其中，香港大学由第二降至第三，香港科技大学由第七降至第八，香港中文大学由第九降至第十。
与之相对的是，香港城市大学、香港理工大学、香港浸会大学、香港岭南大学排名均有上升，分别位列19名、25名、58名和113名。
据悉，QS世界大学排名由英国一家国际教育市场咨询公司Quacquarelli Symonds发布，影响该榜单学校排名的因素大约有五个：
