2020年度的Sony世界摄影奖（Sony World Photography Awards）已是第13届了，比赛正在招募作品（各组截止日期不同），并会在来年2月公布入围名单。大会去年收到了来自195个国家的327,000幅参赛作品，竞争相当激烈，而总冠军得奖者可赢得25,000美元的现金奖以及Sony摄影器材。
比赛规则今年有些改动，例如新增了「中国学生摄影奖」及「拉丁美洲专业奖」、在专业组新增了「环境」类别，又将青年组原本只需提交一张照片的要求，改为在2019年6月至12月间，每个月提交一至三张照片。
