出门在外的留学生，大多会选择做兼职，赚点零花钱。但在新加坡，可不是所有留学生，都能兼职打工的。
根据新加坡人力部要求，留学生无需申请工作准证，打工的条件必须符合两点：
1）在规定学校读书（下文附名单）
2）不是作为交换生在新加坡学习
当工作时段属于学校假期，有48所学校的在校生可以打工，而其需要满足的条件有：
—— 在规定学校全职读书
—— 持有ICA批的学生证（Student Pass）
—— 年满14岁及以上

当工作时段属于学校上课时期，有24所学校的在校生可以打工，而其需要满足的条件有：
—— 在规定学校全职读书
—— 持有ICA批的学生证（Student Pass）
—— 满足以下2个条件中的任意一条：
一周工作不超过16个小时在学校指定的工业合作企业实习（industrial attachment programme），就读项目有明确实习要求（比如在GIST-TUM Asia，学生需要在公司实习8个月，以完成实习及毕业论文写作），以满足毕业要求。*注：在实习并不是毕业必需要求的情况下，实习期间休学的国际学生，需要额外申请工作签证。
