用途超广，即便意腾小编也算是在新加坡留学届打滚了一阵子，不过时不时还是会听到一些新的词，不多说了，快把你们的笔记本拿出来吧！
01 Steady Bom pi pi
Steady Bom pi pi -A phrase used to describe a person who is able to maintain one's cool and collected composure while handling a challenging task.
你是不是听不懂？( 我也听不懂）老实说意腾小编第一次听到这个词的时候，还真的不知道什么意思呢！
其实呢，Steady Pom pi pi出乎意料的是个好词！它主要形容的是一个人相当自信沉稳，甚至是临危不乱的那种冷静。
Steady这词，大家应该常听过吧！新加坡本地人Brother之间对话，很常听到” Eh! Steady lah bro ! ” 意思大概是：欸！兄弟做得好！稳当妥贴， 赞！
例如：You're able to meet that last-minute deadline? Steady pom pi pi!
你能在最后一分钟的期限完成某事！Steady pom pi pi! 赞啦！
02 Ulu
ulu - somewhere which is out of the way “ that restaurant is really ulu. Only way to get there is to drive or get a cab”
马来话：意思是指交通不便之处。
例如：Darling ah, why did you bring me to such an ulu place for picnic? There is no toilet here and I don’t even see a single human other than us….. 亲爱的你为什么带我到这么远的地方野餐啊？这里没有厕所，而且除了我们以外都没看见其他人耶........
03 Lobang
Lobang - means to have insider opportunities
“落榜”，lobang，是马来话，意即“洞”，而由此引申为“缝隙、裂缝、或者说钻漏洞从事某事”等等，都可以。
例如：I got lobang for jobs. Don’t worry sure can get one. No one else knows. 我有门路可以拿到这份工作，没有人其他人知道！
04 Spoil market
Spoil market- means over achieve
破坏市场行情(多半是用来形容某人将事情做得太好）
例如：Eh ! Don’t spoil market. You do so well the rest of us will look bad. 欸！不要酱，你做的那么好，我们其他人会显得很糟糕。
Atas 05
Atas - means high class or snobbish
原来意思，是指“高”。如高山，就叫bukit atas。但也可以用来形容人，比如说：orang atas，那就是“高人”，泛指高尚的人、高贵的人、上流社会的人，高位而又权贵的人。大部分的新加坡本地人会用这个 ” atas ” 来形容很高级的事物或地点。
例如：That bag she is carrying so atas. Looks really expensive. 她背的那个包包好高级，看起来很贵。
Yaya papaya 06
Yaya papaya - someone who likes to show off（通常是用来嘲讽或形容傲慢或是爱炫耀的人）
例如：That guy damn Yaya papaya. Always showing off his watch. 那个男的超级yaya papaya爱炫耀，总是在炫耀他的手表。
Kancheong spider 07
Kancheong spider - feeling jittery or nervous
这个词之后接上“Spider 蜘蛛”，通常用来表示和形容一个人非常紧张，好像一只乱爬的蜘蛛一样，慌乱，手足无措的意思。也可以形容一个人没有耐心，急躁。
例如：That guy damn kancheong spider when he sees the teacher. 那个男的每次看到老师都超级慌张，不知所措。
Gahmen 08
Gahmen - describing the Singapore government when complaining 新加坡本地人小抱怨政府的时候才会这样说
例如：The gahmen put the new rules then we all just have to follow lor. 政府有新的规定我们也只能照做啰！（委屈嘟嘴）
09 Sian
Sian - to be bored or tired of something代表很闷，很无聊或是对某事感到厌烦。
出现概率极高，100% confirm plus chop ( 立马使用上一集出现的Confirm plus chop) 每个新加坡本地人都会这样讲！
以下这句例句，意腾小编不知道从我的新加坡朋友口中听过几次了，而且还是不同人呢！可见新加坡人多爱使用这个Singlish !
例如：Singapore really so small, got nowhere to go. So sian.
新加坡真的很小，没地方去，好Sian啊！
（几乎是新加坡人的心声！？难怪他们平时很爱环游世界）
10 Merlion
Merlion - To Merlion means to throw up like how the Merlion spits water out.
哈哈哈，这个挺有趣的！意思是说新加坡的著名地标“鱼尾狮”，用来形容喝酒醉呕吐的样子。
例如：You drink so much make sure you don’t Merlion later ok? 你喝那么多，等等不要吐到像”Merlion” 一样ok ?
