9月16日13时5分，随着55001次首趟动态检测车从北京大兴机场站鸣笛始发，标志着京雄城际铁路北京大兴机场至雄安站间正式进入联调联试动态检测阶段。
据悉，京雄城际铁路北京大兴机场至雄安段，自北京大兴机场站引出，途经过北京市大兴区，河北省廊坊市广阳区、固安县、永清县和霸州市，终至雄安新区雄县。沿线设两站一线路所，分别为：固安东站、霸州北站、板西线路所，终到雄安站，线路全长60.65公里为双线高速铁路，正线设计速度350km/h。
京雄城际铁路分为北京段和河北段；北京段已于2019年9月26日开通运营；河北段联调联试之后将转入运行试验阶段，验收合格并通过安全评估后，今年年底开通运营。
