Early Years are a critical time for children’s language learning development.
At EtonHouse, we strongly encourage bilingualism in children as it does not only build up their language skills but also connects children with the context of other cultures. It also teaches them to understand and appreciate people from all walks of life.
Last month, several EtonHouse pre-school campuses launched colourful and creative English Month Theme activities. Let’s have a look at them and give them a cheer!

英文舞台剧 | 伊顿小“戏精”

迎着冬日的暖阳，新加坡伊顿国际幼儿学校珠海校区、重庆璧山校区、郑州校区和曲江校区迎来了一场场别开生面的英文舞台剧！孩子们全程英文演绎百老汇经典剧目，不断迎来台下观众们的热烈掌声！
EtonHouse International Pre-School campuses in Zhuhai, Chongqing Bishan, Zhengzhou and Xi'an Qujiang conducted special English stage shows last month. Children performed several classic Broadway plays in English. The audience, especially their parents, was joyfully amused by their lovely performance.

EtonHouse Talent Show | Step Out with Confidence
12月的第一天，新加坡伊顿国际幼儿学校成都卓锦城K1、卓锦城K2、时代豪庭和金牛四个校区共同迎来了英文月的开幕式。学校营造了有趣的英文学习氛围，设计了丰富多样的英文互动游戏，让孩子们尽情地在英文活动中遨游。“英文小主播”、“英文小讲师”、“睡衣走秀”、“外国诗人创意模仿秀”等主题活动不仅激发了孩子对英文学习的兴趣，同时为孩子提供了展现自我的舞台！
Four EtonHouse campuses in Chengdu jointly launched an opening ceremony for English Month. A well designed English learning environment with a variety of games and conversations was set up. Thematic activities such as "little English anchor", "little English small lecture", "pajamas show", "foreign poets creative imitation show" and other themed activities not only stimulated children's interest in English learning but also provided children chances to present themselves on the stage.
新加坡伊顿国际幼儿学校苏州白塘校区、崇州校区、徐州校区、昆明校区、温州校区等也都纷纷举办形式多样的英语比赛，孩子们用各种形式展现自己的英语表达能力：英文故事，英文儿歌，英文自我介绍等等..……通过活动，培育孩子对英文的兴趣，提高孩子表达能力及自信心。
The campuses in Suzhou Baitang, Chongzhou, Xuzhou, Kunming and Wenzhou also held various English competitions. Children demonstrated their English skills through English stories telling, English nursery rhymes and English self-introduction, etc. The purpose of these events aimed to cultivate children's interest in English learning and their expression of their abilities with self-confidence.

Fun English Activities | Inspire Children's Curiosity
在浸入式的英文环境中，通过磨耳朵和大量的英文游戏，孩子们轻松愉快的学习第二语言，同时更愿意开口大胆表达！新加坡伊顿国际幼儿学校西昌校区、西安高新校区等在英语月中开展了一系列英文趣味活动，一起来看看孩子们与老师之间的趣味互动吧！
In an immersive English environment, children can learn a second language happily through well-designed listening practices with interactive English games. Thus they are encouraged to speak more willingly. Our campuses in Xichang and Xi'an Gaoxin have launched a series of English fun activities in the middle of the English month.
