When you still imagine that you are "Iron Man", someone in France has already "done" it.

Humans can finally fly in the air like Iron Man, but the real Iron Man is not the American billionaire, but the French inventor Franky Zapata.

Zapata, 40, successfully crossed the 35.4-kilometer English Channel at 106 miles per hour (170 kilometers per hour) through an air-jet device, Flyboard Air, on Aug. 4, Beijing time, the BBC reported. It took 22 minutes to set a record for the first time humans flew across the strait through a jet.

Weighing about 20 kg, the Flyboard Air consists of five turbine engines, each generating about 250 horsepower and responsible for propulsion and water balance. The complete equipment is composed of the aircraft body, the remote control and the fuel backpack, in which the fuel backpack is loaded with Jet AI aviation fuel.

As a jet platform, the Flyboard Air has a maximum flight altitude of 3000 meters. If converted into a 600-meter-high Guangzhou tower, the Flyboard Air can reach a maximum flight altitude of five Guangzhou towers.

Players of "Red Alert" know that the Flyboard Air is somewhat similar to the "Rocket Air Force" in the Red Alert, except that the rocket backpack was replaced by the current Flyboard Air.

Author's comment: I think if the manufacturing cost of Flyboard Air can be reduced in the future, this device can really be popularized to police or even military use. You think about it, the future police will be like a "rocket pilot" to catch criminals, think about it is exciting.

Frequent business travelers have noticed that Cathay Pacific has recently updated some of its privacy policies, and images of passengers in the cabin will be recorded in the future.

In October last year, Cathay Pacific was exposed to the leakage of personal data of 9.4 million passengers, but recently they did not seem to strengthen the protection of personal privacy because of this scandal, but revised some privacy policies more frequently.

Cathay Pacific recently updated some of its privacy policies to diversify the types of data it collects, including preferences for in-flight entertainment systems, images of passengers in the cabin and even duty-free goods you have purchased.

In an interview with Bloomberg News, Cathay Pacific CEO Rupert Hogg said that in order to optimize the flight passenger experience, internal analysis would increase information including passengers'food preferences, hotel membership plans, seat selection and so on. Track and collect 23 types of passenger behavior.

In other words, Cathay Pacific can now clearly know what movies passengers have seen on the plane, which main course they have ordered, whether they have finished eating, how long they stay at the airport, and which store they like to go to to buy duty-free goods. Even which movie you watch will sleep soundly. These materials have slowly constructed a super-detailed passenger database in the aviation industry.

American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and Singapore Airlines were all exposed to cameras and microphones in the new seats on the aircraft. Of course, all four companies later admitted the matter and stated that they did not actively turn on the lens and microphone. The purpose of the installation is for future "potential features" considerations, such as providing seat-to-seat video conferencing.

Cathay Pacific has repeatedly stressed that the in-flight entertainment system does not have any cameras or microphones installed, and it will not be installed in the future.

Author's comment: in today's more and more advanced commercial era, the use of big data in-depth marketing seems to be an essential business development weapon for every enterprise. Sometimes I think, usually on the home page to recommend these things to me, is what I really want, or you "force" what I want?
